Our Case Study learning material will give you an idea of the DVSA questions but they are not the exact questions you’ll get on the date of your Module 2 test. DVSA deliberate doesn’t reveal the real questions as they want you to have an understanding of true-life situations and to use your knowledge to be fully prepared both for their test and for real life.

CPC Practical Demonstration Test (Module 4)

HDS HGV LGV Demonstration Test After passing Case Study (Module 2) arrange your two section practical 30 minute test:

Vehicle Walk Round – show your examiner you know how to thoroughly check your vehicle, demonstrate its equipment is legal and fit for work and therefore ready to take out on the road. We will train you each and every part of the vehicle to explain to the examiner.

Load Security – demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of webbing straps, ratchets, chains and expanding/tensioning bars, all essential skills for a working driver.

There are five areas of knowledge:

  Ability to prevent criminality and trafficking in illegal immigrants

  Ability to assess emergency situations

  Ability to load the vehicle using chains & bars
•  
  Security of the vehicle and its contents
•  
  Ability to complete a physical walk road vehicle safety check

To prepare for the test we offer a practical group training session. Lasting around 3 hours at our training centre, to help you pass, we provide all the knowledge and you can practice your skills using the same Load Securing Demonstration Trolley used on the day of your test.

Usually, the lesson and test is held on the same day (so remember, bring your driving license and your Mod 2 Case Study Pass Certificate with you as you must show them to your examiner, on the day, and before your test). If you prefer 1-to-1 training this is available at our Normal Price, but remember to request this in advance of your booking. When you have passed Module 2 & 4 your Driver Qualification Card will be sent to you directly from DVLA.
